Growing up in Australia, I was always surrounded by animals-cats, dogs, birds, you name it. But it wasn't until I spent six years living in Fiji that I truly connected with them on a deeper level.
In Fiji, I cared for five dogs, a cat, and even rescued strays and wild animals. That experience opened my eyes to my natural ability to understand and nurture all kinds of creatures. I learned to read their emotions, appreciate their unique personalities, and truly see them as family.
My husband, Inoke, shares my love for animals. Together, caring for them became part of our daily life in Fiji-and when we returned to Australia, we started helping friends and family by pet-sitting and house-sitting when they were away.
Word spread. Posh Paws Pet-Minding was born.
Since then, I've cared for all kinds of animals-from dogs and cats to bearded dragons-developing a process that ensures both pets and owners feel happy and reassured. With Inoke's support, we've built this business from the ground up, making sure every animal feels safe, loved, and understood while they're in our care.

Since then, we’ve been proudly running our business on the Gold Coast, and more recently, we’ve undergone a rebrand and slight name change to Posh Paws Gold Coast.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for a wide range of animals. For nearly two years now, we have been developing a thoughtful, reliable process that ensures both pets and their owners feel calm, supported, and reassured.
With my husbands ongoing support, we’ve built our business from the ground up as a small, boutique, family-owned Queensland business — even having the honour of becoming a 2025 Finalist in the Gold Coast Girls in Business Awards and, more recently, a 2026 nominee in the Women Changing the World Awards.
Our personal approach, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals are at the heart of everything we do, ensuring every pet feels safe, understood, and truly cared for, and every home is treated with the utmost respect.
